Summer Opportunities for Youth at Harvest Hope Farm

Pollinator Garden Education.HEIC

Harvesting Hope for Others Farm Camp is a 11-week day camp for children ages 6-13. The camp meets weekly for 2 hours from June-August.  During this time, each child grows a 4x6 raised garden bed from planting to harvest.  Produce raised in the garden beds is donated to families in need in the Fargo/Moorhead area.  In addition to growing produce, children learn how to interact with and care for farm animals.  Children feed the animals, as well as learn about food products that farm animals produce for humans. Children also have the opportunity to experience nature through organized activities and free play in the woods.  To make this experience impactful and meaningful for the youth involved, space is limited to 16 participants per session in 2025.   Registration includes a t-shirt for each participant.  Dates:  June 4th through Wednesday August 13th, 2025.  Two sessions:  3:00-5:00 or  6:00-8:00.  Early Bird Registration November 15-30th.  Regular registration will open February 1, 2025.

Did you know: Having fresh produce readily available means it’s easier to
include servings during meals and snacks? Our kids are so excited to dig
into a healthy lifestyle thanks to a Teaching Gardens Network grant from
