Planting YOUR Spring Garden!
Spring is in full swing and summer is nearly here, with that in mind we have a little poem to share:
Planting Your Spring Garden
For the Garden of Your Daily Living
Plant three rows of peas:
-
Peace of Mind
-
Peace of Heart
-
Peace of Soul
Plant four rows of Squash
-
Squash Gossip
-
Squash Indifference
-
Squash Grumbling
-
Squash Selfishness
Plant four rows of Lettuce:
-
Lettuce be Faithful
-
Lettuce be Kind
-
Lettuce be Patient
-
Lettuce Really Love One Another
No Garden is complete without Turnips:
-
Turnip for Meetings
-
Turnip for Service
-
Turnip to Help One Another
To Conclude our Garden we must have Thyme:
-
Thyme for Each Other
-
Thyme for Family
-
Thyme for Friends
Water Freely with Patience and Cultivate with Love. There is much Fruit in your Garden because You Reap What You Sow!

With that, please note that summer Farm Camps at Harvest Hope Farm are still planned! Harvesting Hope for Others Farm Camp is tentatively scheduled to begin on May 27th! With the safety of our participants and volunteers in mind, we will continue to assess if the start date needs to be delayed or if participation will be modified. This year, due to the pandemic affecting so many families in our area, there is a great need for our service through Free Produce Boxes. We encourage you to register your child(ren), ages 6-13 years old, so that they can help serve those in need in the Fargo/Moorhead area.
If you know someone who could benefit from a Free Produce Box weekly, please email us at harvesthopefarm@gmail.com. We would be happy to deliver produce weekly mid-June-September.
Also due to the current health situation, we have made the decision to delay Llama Llama Camp for pre-school age children until August 2020. Those families who are registered for the June session of Llama Llama Camp will be contacted regarding participation in the August session. There are a few slots remaining open for this camp for children ages 3-5 years old. Check it out on our website and register today!
